Following are a list of books which
you may find helpful in learning and developing a discipline of prayer. Prayer* - Philip Yancey Sacred Pathways - Gary Thomas The Power of Christ's Prayer Life - Charles H. Spurgeon Intercessory Prayer - Dutch Sheets Six Secrets to a Powerful Quiet Time - Catherine Martin Hearing God's Voice* - H & R Blackaby Too Busy Not To Pray* - Bill Hybels Power Through Prayer - E.M. Bounds When In Doubt Sing - Jane Redmont These books have an enormous variety of difference in theology regarding prayer but there just might be something there that helps. The one's * are what I would recommend if you wanted a place to begin. These can be purchased from any good Christian Book store (Word or Koorong) or Ralph has a copy of most them available to loan out to those within the Church.
