The Uniting Church celebrates both Child and Adult Baptisms, understanding that it is an acknowledgement of what God has and is doing and is a confirmation of the desire to be involved in God's life through a local Church.

If you would like your child to be baptised into the Uniting Church we would love to celebrate with you in this. The process requires that you read the literature we have informing you of the nature of baptism (Download here).

Weddings

If you would like to be married in either The Seymour or Avenel Uniting Churches please contact us for preliminary discussions.

You will be required to engage in several pre-marriage conversations that aim to strengthen your current relationship and prepare you for marriage. The material used is from Prepare/Enrich, and allows the couple to nurture their own relationship and strengthen possible growth areas in light of the conversation that is generated.

Please contact as soon as possible before the ceremony so that ample time is allowed for this process. Please also note that there are some costs associated with this process.

Funerals
